Dear Denmark,
thank you for over 40 years of loyalty! I’ve retired my old mountain railway. Look forward to its successor, which in the winter of 2026/2027 will take you comfortably, safely, and quickly to the summit.

While one of my old gondolas is on its way to Aarhus and Roskilde to find a new home, a brand-new Grafenberg gondola lift is already taking shape in its place. Follow the construction of the new lift in the video:
From the start of the 2026/27 winter season, a modern 10-person gondola will carry you up the mountain faster and more comfortably than ever – with a new mid-station that connects you smoothly into the 12 Peaks – 5 Valleys ski circuit of Snow Space Salzburg and Zauchensee. Just ten minutes to the top, with sweeping panoramic views over the Alps. Completion is planned for November 2026.
