Why is gondola coming to Denmark
Dear Denmark,
thank you for over 40 years of loyalty! I've retired my old mountain railway. Look forward to its successor, which in the winter of 2026/2027 will take you comfortably, safely, and quickly to the summit. Wagrain is calling!

While one of my old gondolas is on its way to Aarhus and Roskilde to find a new home, a brand-new Grafenberg gondola lift is already taking shape in its place. Follow the construction of the new lift in the video:
From the start of the 2026/27 winter season, a modern 10-person gondola will carry you up the mountain faster and more comfortably than ever – with a new mid-station that connects you smoothly into the 12 Peaks – 5 Valleys ski circuit of Snow Space Salzburg and Zauchensee. Just ten minutes to the top, with sweeping panoramic views over the Alps. Completion is planned for November 2026.
