TAPE 2
The time has almost come again: the 75th Tour of Austria, Austria’s biggest cycling event, will once again make its way across the country. The race begins on 9 July with the prologue in Steyr and continues over five stages to Feldkirch in the province of Vorarlberg.
Stage 3 starts on Friday, 10 July 2026, at the main square in Lienz. After a long climb towards the Felbertauern Tunnel, the route continues through the Pinzgau into the Pongau region. From Schwarzach, the riders pass through Bahnhofstraße in St. Johann, continue to Bischofshofen, and over the Buchberg into the Fritztal Valley. The route then leads through Eben, Altenmarkt, and Wagrain, before returning via Bahnhofstraße in St. Johann to the stage finish in St. Johann-Alpendorf.
The exact schedule and estimated passing times will be added shortly, as soon as they are officially announced by the event organiser.
Please note that temporary road closures and traffic delays are to be expected along the race route on this day.
