The Stockhamhof is located on the valley floor, at the entrance to Kleinarl, and is nestled in the picturesque setting of the breathtaking Salzburg mountains. Surrounded by green meadows and unspoiled nature, the farm stands on an idyllic hill in an open location.
The Gwehenberger family has been managing the farm since 1994 according to the high organic standards of Bio Austria. Christoph Gwehenberger took over the farm from his parents in 2011 and converted it into a modern farm with the highest standards of species-appropriate animal husbandry. Christoph is one of the three organic pioneers and co-founder of Bio aus dem Tal.
Milk and meat
The Stockham is one of the milk suppliers for the Bio aus dem Tal dairy. Other products are organic beef and pork. North side at the Stockham is the small, local slaughterhouse and cold storage for regional meat production in the valley - without long and stressful animal transports.
