Blauer See

MELTWATER EXCURSION WITH KAISERSCHMARRN REWARD

The Blue Lake is a small meltwater pit on the Ennskraxn rock face. To reach the lake, you have to hike a steep path through the high forest and along the forest ridge. The tour takes about 3 to 3.5 hours and has an elevation gain of 950 meters. An insider tip is the Kaiserschmarrn at the Steinkaralm on the way to the Blauer See.

WHERE IS THE JOURNEY GOING?

The first hurdle of finding a parking space is easily overcome by public transport. With the bus line 530 & 532 you can easily reach the starting point of the hike. The Daxbauer station takes you directly to the first meters of altitude.
